MIRROR – Poem #3

Power stirs up in me
I believe it my duty
To tell you the tale
Of how I stepped on a rock
Fell, but got back up
Without scratching my shoes
I don’t sell advice
I give it away for free
I’m telling you, you are better than me
I want you to hold the stars in your hand
Let me help you plant the seed
Come this way….there is more water over here…
Don’t misunderstand…
You will have to walk around edges
And you may get a few scrapes along the way
It’s OK
I already dug up some dirt before you even arrived
I don’t sell advice
I give it away for free
I’m telling you, you are better than me
I want YOU to see the image of you I see
